MACI expects to hire over 100 new people in 1st Quarter 2013

Jackson, MI -- Michigan Automotive Compressor, Inc. (MACI) currently has 100 job openings which need to be filled as soon as possible.  Between 2011 and early 2012, the company hired eighty people, but the need continues to grow.

As announced in April 2011, the company is in the process of a large expansion to install equipment to produce variable air conditioning compressor units along with its current fixed-displacement products.  At the same time, sales growth in the North American automotive industry has translated to increased demand for current products.

Positions are available in production engineering, maintenance, purchasing, quality assurance and production areas.  Production candidates are required to pass basic tests in reading comprehension, math and dexterity skills.
